Overview

The church based at the Mission grew out of the youth work started by volunteers back in 1980. Today the church is made up of people from many different backgrounds, most of whom live in the neighbouring areas of Tower Hamlets and Hackney. What unites us is a shared faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to live out our faith in our daily lives, sharing the God News of Jesus with others as we serve the diverse communities around us. We aim to make visitors welcome, and with about 100 adult members we are not so big that you will be lost in a crowd.

We meet together at 10.45am on a Sunday as a church family, and there are crèche and children’s groups for children up to the teenage years. We encourage members where possible to get involved in some area of service during the week, and to join a home group or attend our weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday evening.
