GAP project

The Gap Project was established in 2000 as a joint project between Bethnal Green Mission Church and The Good Shepherds Mission to work with young people not in full-time education, training or employment to help them realise their potential and work towards becoming young leaders in their local communities.

The project is based at Bethnal Green Mission Church and offers:

• Literacy support
• Sports Leaders Award
• Extra support with school
• Learning challenge scheme

To join the project young people need to be:

• Aged 13-19
• Live in Tower Hamlets
• Be at risk of exclusion, or not in full-time education,work or training
